GALESBURG -- Norman C. Lester, 72, of 950 E. Fifth St. died at 4:57 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 1995, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. Born Oct. 7, 1923, in Aurora to Charles E. and Blanche M. Sullivan Lester, he married Rozella E.J. Nelson Fryer on May 15, 1988, in Elmwood. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Rocky G. Lester of Galesburg; three daughters, Debby Erickson of Decatur, Norma Morgan of Galesburg and Cindy McCormick of Florissant, Mo.; four stepsons, Gerald and Russell Fryer, both of Bloomington, Daniel Fryer of Galesburg and Bradley Fryer of King George, Va.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ronald (Jane) Wolschlag of Normal; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
