Mrs. Ella May Ferris, mother of Floyd Ferris, this city, died on Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock in the Geneseo hospital following an extended illness. She had been confined to her bed for the past four years.
Born Aug. 2, 1874, she was married to Albert L. Ferris, Jan. 8, 1896. He preceded her in death. Two other sons also survive, Orville of Chicago and Harold of Washburn. She also leaves two brothers, Charlie Van Dyke, Kewanee, Frank Van Dyke, Rush City, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. John Kelch of Bradford. There are six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Osceola Grove Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Vaughn of Kewanee officiating. Burial will be in Osceola Grove cemetery.
